Although before that we had like a few meetings, but official operations started last night.
Its not my liaison officers side, but we went to help out at William and Malvin's side with the performers and their buses.
Was glad that there wasn't any crowd, but the biggest problem of yesterday was the RAIN.
the rain didn't start from any drizzle but just straight pouring, leaving us frantically trying to put on the lousy poncho on the roadside. It was really.....funny. I would be laughing if I was driving past and to see people at the roadside drenched yet trying to figure out how to put on the poncho.
And the next moment was that, its a CAT 1 rain! Which means even the excos would have to seek shelter.
But before all that happens, my shoes were already soaked to the maximum.
Its definitely because of the hole at the back!
I really really really really hate the feeling of soaked feet.
Its like so niam and your toes and feet totally feel suffocated with the wet socks.
Oh well, gonna learn smart and bring slippers next week.
Beside all these, of course it's like another night for us to spend some quality time (because there wasn't anyone there we need to take care of), star gazing, chit chatting and all!
After all that rain it was a chilly night!
All our volunteer leaders are a bunch of friendly people of our age, and of course shawn is like my old friend already.
So we're just one.
Had fun talking together.
and after the night, the excos went to have supper at upper thomson!
Prata house or something.
It was nice! The prata was like nice...or maybe I'm just hungry. But oh well..
so 15 of us went in and then we joined some tables and its like a really long table.
HAHAHAHAHA
and most importantly, it was a treat from our best recruit Junrong!
Speaking of which, gotta really thank Ziqian for being such a sweetheart!
Really damn bad for making her such a tired girl, she slept for like less than an hour, but yet she didn't want to pangseh me.
It was really a touching scene to see these army boys throw their caps and then started hugging each other. Like, woahhhhhhhhh.
Maybe Jiaen was right, every girl has to go this parade once to see for herself.
It's really something different after knowing its not easy to be in the army, and today is the day that they've been waiting for to be freed.
And of course, most importantly because this Junrong got us to buy bread and 100plus for him,
and we did. He's just like a happy boy receiving his presents HAHAHAHAHA..
Most probably he has the happiest smile among all the other army boys hahaha!
Even his photo with that national flag(i don't know what is that called)
With the best recruit of platoon 3, HEAH. |
the big guy, Genghaooooooooooo~ |
Watched them grow up and now that most of them are like going to complete their national service,
and signing on. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO.
Everyone is growing. From ah boys to men.
with that,
BYEBYE.
