adventure cove + lucy

After so longggggggggggg, finally we made a trip down to the adventure cove!
Actually, these attractions in Singapore, not a lot of Singaporeans may have visited it for themselves.
Well, I would say for the usual price of the ticket to adventure cove like $36...it's super not worth it.
But luckily, I guess its because its the off-peak period and resorts world came up with promotions! So we get that 1-for-1 bundle so $36 for 2 persons..well..for the experience yes its superb!

The rides are fun, but the variety is just... okay.
Excluding the snorkeling parts of the water park, there are like around 8 attractions in the park.

Because its a weekday, and we went earlier so the earlier part of our visit was kinda pleasant cause the crowd was still okay. And, I met my dolphins!!! Although it was kinda far...but.. well, still loving it!

Not sure if you've realized it from the photos, but they have lots and lots of lifeguards on duty.
So you don't have to worry about your safety -as long as you're not doing the wrong thing.
But well it was kinda stressful to enjoy with so many lifeguards.
Like literally every few meter you'll see one swaggy lifeguard watching you behind his/her shades.
But they were really good (Y) especially at the snorkeling area.
Snorkeling is really...not easy.
I didn't manage to get any photos cause..who on earth swim with the phone on hand.
and yes, there are people like this. And I just don't get them.

But back to the story, I wasn't expecting myself to be playing EVERYTHING in the park.
After reading the description of the rides from the RWS website, I got really coward and told my bff that.....she should probably get more company if she wants fun and in case I really cannot overcome my own fears.
But after seeing the rides for myself,  yes for the first time when you go down the slides, I felt like dying but I know I have my bff behind me and in the end it became REALLY FUN.
Yes, better go in even numbers, cause almost all of the slides allow pairs...and I guess its really scary to be taking the ride alone. It's awkward to be screaming alone. HAHAHAHAHA!

For the first time, I heard the most genuine screams from the two dumbies. It was really funny but...
I can't describe it in words but it was really enjoyable with the three buddies of my life.

and yes, after playing for like a couple of hours we were kinda done with all the slides and all..so we went to find a place to have a break!

$4 corn dog...

after 12pm, the crowd started to came in and the queue for the slides were longggggggg
for the slides we have to carry the tubes up the stairs and in the end, today I'm suffering from muscle aches :3
but its all worth it <: nbsp="" p="">
my two dumbies

 the mandatory shots..

Overall, the experience was really good. The customer service and all..
maybe being a resort student I've learnt enough to tell what are the efforts to ensure good experience..
its just in your mind.
HAHAHAHA.
The lifeguards or whoever managing the rides, they have the effort to make the experience better..
and there are really good lifeguards like as in, they really engage with you and make you feel better.
Like I've mentioned, I was really scared but there are lifeguards that really make me feel less frightened before the start of the slide.

Other than those too-swaggy lifeguards around the rapid that really looked damn dao, the rest are really friendly!
Well, adventure cove....once is enough, unless its a free ticket :>

after that, coma-ed on the bus with le bff to amk to meet the des for Lucy!
And, Lucy is a movie I won't ever want to watch.
Firstly, I don't get it.
Second, it's damn disgusting (bloody).
Third, the theater was too cold.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHA.
Well, at least I had this 1.5 hour in the theater..doing nothing.

Still, enjoyed yesterday so much <: nbsp="" p="">quality time with the buddies before they start their internship while my plan is to enjoy my precious time at home doing NOTHING before my internship starts.
Can't emphasize anymore on how much I love to stay at home and do nothing.
People say, "won't you feel like you're rotting at home so bored" but to me it's enjoyable to be rotting at home.
You don't spend any money but time with your family, and there's nothing on your mind and you just do whatever you want. I'm just loving it WOOOOOOTS.

Till then.
