To Lazarus Island

So finally I had a short little break after two days of intensive project days!

Since I guess a month ago, Ziqian started to plan for this Yuheng's birthday celebration be it just his chalet or this personal surprise party with the chins!
As he's turning 21 this year, it has to be BIG.
But well, what matters was the fun that we had.
So in the middle of the night yesterday le bff came over to fetch me over to stay overnight at her place so that it will be easier for us to set off for today's surprise for Yuheng.
Well, stayovers are supposed to be fun, but we just ended up doing projects till around 3 plus in the morning when we had to wake up at around 5 plus 6 later.

But still we made it, to wake up early in the morning and trained all the way down to harbourfront in order to meet the person-in-charge earlier to 'decorate' the yacht.
But in the end we still got there late...but the belated-birthday boy was blindfolded and being cheated by his girlfriend that he's on either a cab or her friend's car......

Imagine seeing this sight at Sentosa Cove.... HAHAHA. Well.. it's a surprise!
Side track a bit, it just seems to be a big....yacht park where many many different kinds of yachts are parked here. It's like so dam cool. Sorry for being like a goondu but it's my first experience of a yacht like literally.

and so we merely walked ahead of the couple and tried to prepare his cake for him as fast as possible while trying to cope with the very choppy waves

and finally, tada! SHOW TIME!

Awfully Chocolate's Rum and cherry ( I think), it's quite nice tho! The chocolate is rich yet not...sickening(?)

So right after this, our journey towards the mysterious (at least to me) began!

I was kinda expecting something like Bintan to appear in front of me, however I was wrong.
Its like another tekong but for civilians cause it was a boring island, to me.
I was too lazy and tired to bring extra set of clothes and getting myself soaked in sea water. So I've decided to risk the fun and not bring anything.

So firstly we brought the food out and then what came towards me in GROUPS were cats.
And it seem like they're not afraid of humans at all. There were like around 5-6 all coming towards me and I was literally surrounded.

Lazarus island is quite an empty island. From what I saw it's basically....empty roads, lands, a pier and beach. I guess it is because the people who goes there are those super duper filthy rich people who most prolly owns their own yacht and the purpose of going there is to have entertainment with the yacht..any facilities built there would be wasted.

and the beach! The waters are considered super clean and clear for Singapore.

and the sun today was....merciless. But nonetheless, we still had lots of fun!

The sky shot

The loners club

Well despite being loners together, we did so many idiotic stuff that we may just get judged but YOLO
like forever having music videos recorded by the seas.....and what's not.
As you can see, there's not a lot of people there.
Hence it's possible to dance whatever you want and just be yourself muahahah

Had such a nice time hanging out with them and forgetting my projects for that while.
I'm so grateful for friends like them where it can always be happy just having a meal with them.
Even for people like William who is serving the nation right now just to join us for the meal and it's good enough already.
Hope to see them soon and meet da girls after all these projects and gone for good!!!!

That's it!

P.S I'm like suffering from motion sickness when I'm sitting on my chair....and all I did was to look at these photos. OMG what's wrong with me :3
