On that day we set off it was polling day as well so my overly-excited family actually woke up as early as possible to cast their votes when our ferry is only like 1315 in the afternoon so it was really unnecessary to wake up that early hahahahahhahaha
but well it was a free public holiday so why not
It was so long since we got to go on a short little getaway trip ever since my dad got overly attached his golfing activities. And its till the extent of pissing me off whenever I think about it.
Well, if the parent doesn't know how to reflect then he wouldn't even try listening to what the kid has to say. SO BE IT.
My dad he booked Gideon (apparently he said he stayed in there before).
It looks clean and spacious. More than enough for our 2D1N trip....
Oh oh the best part about the room is that they have cabled channels and even Singapore channels!
My mom even watched the whole election broadcast grrr LOLOLOL
I mean it was nothing near to what I was expecting and used to seeing.
It was literally the walls. HAHAHAHA.
So basically its just located across the street from the only shopping mall I saw throughout my whole trip, BCS (Batam City Square)..
The main point of us going to Batam was for their cheap massage and yes indeed its cheap cheap!
Went to this Reborn massage and choose their 2 hours Tui Na and I swear I'm grateful that I am able to walk out of the spa alive. I am not brittle but the places they push are mostly those sensitive areas but it was rather shiok at that moment. The pain comes after... haahhahah sore body all the way.
It was around $18 for 2 hours, I guess it alright....?
This superb chocolate-rich ice cream is nice. Although I don't remember how much was it.
And soon after it was time to head back home.
Trust me, I wouldn't want to stay another night in that hotel. There's some unknown visitors together with us throughout the night. oh god.
I didn't manage to sleep well that night so please pardon me for my pale looking face.
And there's this episode where my mom got locked inside the toilet cubicle at the Harbour.
It was really scary and when I went to the toilet to look for her, she was rescued out.
Thank you to all the kind souls who have helped, especially the one who climbed into the cubicle to unlock that broken door.
Waiting for my next trip//
Till then.
