NATURAL NATURE!

HEYO.
Wanted to blog about this trip back to sungei buloh a few days ago but I was just busy..
with projects.
Really......last warning to all the projects.
I really feel my brain exploding.

anyway!
So last saturday, Jiaen and I went back to Sungei Bulohhhh!
not sure if I've mentioned before, we're always helping out with this program called YNP!
it's like basically for the little kids to go and know more about the nature.

but this time it was kinda different..
because it was for the bigger kids!
Where you'll like...do mangrove salvaging! Which is also the main point of the event.
I guess..people in SB will actually go to the reserve (which is like really the inside inside part where normal public wouldn't access).
and for some reasons(I forgot why), they'll save the little plants in the area.
like..

so basically the kids just have to dig the soil around the plant then lift it up and put it inside the bag!

and tada~ they're done!

Was really proud of those kids and of course my guides juniors! :D
The sun was really burning that day and yet we went on with the plans.

And of course, being in this program for like 3 years, we get to know a lot of people.
Like I even met my uncle in sungei buloh or sth and I swear it was really awkward.
HAHA then jiaen met her primary school teacher.
And because of this program, our secondary school's portfolio had something more than what others didn't.

We took part in many many other little activities like the SWAP and still presented to the Japanese students when we went on a school trip then!
I can't really remember why but that was my very first presentation tho :p

and knowing friendly mentors like...ms halilah! and of course her kid HAHAHAH

and the best best best best X100000 part of the program is that the food is always superb.
I'm not a food person but I have to admit that the food is really nice. EVERYTIME.

then again, great opportunity to catch up with sweet juniors from guides!
like this little chingling HAHAHAHHA

And a day well spent with the bff!

I guess people around my age don't really go to sungei buloh.
Like I don't think they even know how sungei buloh looks like...
normally they'll think that it's some kinda....forest.
But actually, it's not that bad as what we thought it would be.
There's proper tiles and its actually newer than some old shopping malls.

All of us need a getaway from this suffocating society and the harsh reality.
so why not just go somewhere where there's like nature and like relax.
it's all the way at the countryside of singapore!

these little plants...they'll always be there providing us with oxygen and the scenery and shade
we don't treasure it until we see the trees falling.
When can we learn to treasure what we have now and not asking for more?
