TVXQ! Asia Fan Party 2011 in Singapore!

i was browsing through the straits time just now and I saw this...

Feeding Frenzy
TVXQ meets their fans
And I flipped.
It's an article about the fan party!

Since I have nothing better to do now,
I shall type out what the media said!
So intoxicated after reading it again~

Duo dazzle
Despite losing half their members, TVXQ still have what it takes to draw fans.

First they were five, then they were two. But the lack of more than half the original line-up of Korean group TVXQ did not dent their popularity.
TVXQ, short for Tong Vfang Xien Qi ( Korean for "rising gods of the east"), was originally a five-member group but three members left in 2009.
Nonetheless, the boyband's original leader Yun Ho, 25, and Chang Min, 23, are still considered one of the biggest K-pop bands around, with a devoted following in Korea, Japan, China and South-east Asia.
This was their first visit to Singapore and they still proved a strong enough draw for the 4500 fans who bought tickets to last Saturday's fan meet at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. A fan meet comprises a mini concert-six songs in TVXQ's case-video screenings plus some question-and-answer segments with the stars. For this, fans pay $118 to $188 for a ticket.
The decibel metre was off the rails even before the stars arrived onstage. The screams began when a 15-minute music video of Before U Go was screened, which depicted the duo as cops in a complicated plot with shoot-outs an double-crosses. It paved the way for their eventual arrival with their opening gambit, Maximum, a catchy hip-hop-infused pop number.
Dressed in matching white sleeveless tops and trousers, Yunho and Changmin performed a seamlessly choreographed number while the hall exploded with wild cries. The fans' red light sticks moved in sync, keeping beat.
The rest of this 1.5hour event featured songs that embodied the essence of the K-pop phenomenon: hyper-slick beats of R&B, infectious melodies and random injection of English words, performed by chiselled man-boys in tight clothes and elaborate hairstyles.
Before U Go, Rising Sun and a medley of older songs allowed the boys to exhibit more of their fast-paced dance moves. The mood got a little mellow with How Can I, a soaring ballad that featured surprisingly solid live vocals.
In between performances, they handled impersonal questions on auto-pilot about themselves and Singapore via a translator.
Yes, like fans everywhere, Singapore fans are passionate and energetic. Chilli and pepper crab are their favourite Singaporean food. Their new year resolution for 2012? To return to Singapore.
It did not seem to matter to the fans that they could have gotten more information from a press release. For many of them, it was an emotional experience.
When a fan video was shown depicting a packed stadium in Malaysia chanting TVXQ's name, many of the Singaporean fans wept. Fandom, it seems, can be very moving, especially to the participants.
TVXQ closed with a Lady Gaga-esque synth-heavy ditty with rap segments and high-wailing parts for Changmin to show off his vocal range. The title? Keep Your Head Down. Judging by their fervid reception here, that is the last thing they can do.

yeah!

Yunho's intro :D

although they're short, but I just can't stop repeating them :D

It's really a dream come true.
A REALLY BIG THANKYOU, KUMAWOR to Shuyi GUGU!
It was really the best night throughout my 16 years in Singapore.
my 4 years, are seriously worth.

There are people always thinking that I'm wasting my time,
trying to condemn kpop,
they don't make any difference in me.
They just don't know how to appreciate kpop music.
It's not about the appearance, the plastic surgeries or whatever of the celebrities.
The music itself is nice.
But they just simply stereotyped the whole kpop as FAKE.

I dislike some groups but I have to admit that some of their songs are really addictive.
Even if I don't like the group, but their songs are still accepted!
So, if you ever try,  or i ever happen to know that you anti kpop like seriously,
just be sure that I'm cursing you!
I mean I don't curse you to death, but yeah karma you see...

Like some people got their retribution.
LOL.

Okay....so that's more or less about it.
After listening to dongbang singing How Can I live at the fan party,
it has officially become my favourite song.
It's like damn freaking sad.

Gotta explore around now.
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH
