Japan II !

Yeah finally back in Singapore, for part 2!

The robosquare was in Fukuoka, after that we bus-ed to Nagasaki!
Nagasaki do sound familiar right?
Yeah, it was the city where the Americans released a Atomic Bomb during WW2~
Went into their museum and they showed the videos and artefacts left behind .
The impact of the bomb was superb.
Metal also can blast until dont know what happen.
Humans...dont need say you know what will happen to them ,
and how they'll look when their bodies are found.

Initially we're supposed to take a ferry ride down to Kumamoto.
The whole coach will be entering the whole ferry, thus we need not move our luggages.
HOWEVER,
according to our local guide, she said Bus ride 3 hours, Ferry ride 4 hours.
Of course we'll take the shorter one.
......
then thats the time when we actually sat a 3 hours ride car.
Even though the wind there is freezing cold,
but for people like me.
how am i supposed to sit down there for 3 hours!
Its a torture, totally.
So therefore,
I slept, stone, and looked at the scenery.
Bored to the maximum.
Most of the peeps were sleeping like pigs.
Even though I occupied 2 seats, but its still uncomfortable.
:S

Day 3 , 14/11/10
From Kumamoto, we further went down to Minamata.
The area which were once so badly polluted that it took away alot of innocent lives.
The factory poured the Methyl Mercury into the river.
And the fishes fed onto the Methyl Mercury, then the people ate the fishes ,
and thats how they got the Minamata disease.
Its a very scary disease.
All the patients fingers will bend into some impossible positions,
and they will oftenly get into serious fits.
Scary.
World Peace!
Then later went to Gokase Village for farmstay experience!
Damn fun.
The host treat us super well.
The mummy cooked us delicious meals, and gave us rice seasoning,
with the ampaman as the packaging.
WHOO! Cute!
We slept on TATAMI , which is damn freaking nice.
Super soft.
and of course, the heater is important for normal houses, cause the next morning
the village is just only 7 degrees.
So of course, Jackets!

Day 4. 15/11/10
All the mummies / host families are super heartwarming.
The Japanese have a very nice culture.
The host will send the guests off,
by sending them to the bus, and when the bus sets off,
He will start waving until the bus isnt in sight anymore.
Even when we went down the mountain, ( the village is on the mountain :p )
all the mummies are standing in one line, waving their whole hands in the air!
Heartwarming (:

Their 'tatami' Mattress

Typical Japanese house doors! Like doraemon's right!?

A photo with the whole family! ^^

Went to Mt Aso, an active volcano.
The temperature up there was said to be 3~4 degrees.
We went to the foot of the mountain, to take the cable car up to the peak.
When we alighted the bus, everyone was screaming and running towards the toilet.
It was sooooooo cold then i stand down there, I can't stop shivering !
Even white smoke comes out of our breath !

Then went up to the peak, and the temperature is worst still.
Is reallly cold until my whole palm turned red~ and everyone looked so messy,
cause the wind there is :) .
Cannot see too far, and there is this choky gas coming out from the volcano !
Nice experience (:

Picture time~

Peace!
more photos to be uploaded in facebook (:
